Week 3: BioHeroes

Hello guys,
Today I am going to introduce you to my bio hero- Talking embracer. This young girl was so sad reading about many suicide cases, wars and stories of people suffering from depression.  She hated war and fightings. She wanted to make a change. She asked god for help. And God gave her powers. (My birthday is on September 27. So I got Temporal lobe and Serotonin) My bio hero has the power to make people understand and speak language, so they can communicate. She can help them to control their emotions. She also helps to maintain the well being and happiness of the people by reducing depression and regulating anxiety. She can stabilize the mood of people. With these power she can save the world by helping people who suffer depression, thus reducing the amount of suicides. Also, change emotions from angry to happy so there is less hatred and low crime rates. She can also make peace agreements by making people better understand what the other person is saying and also help people who struggles to learn a language. She can remove all the communication barriers. She can really make this world a better place.

And now it's time to change the world by creating a group of powerful friends. Introducing Fantastic Four: The Mighty Messenger, Queen Cobra, Iris Adrenaline, and Talking Embracer.  Let's change the world!!!

Week 2: Memory Tests

Hi friends,
Today I took some memory tests to challenge myself and see how well I do on these. Here are the exciting and quite interesting results I got.
I. Picture Short Term Memory Test
For this test, 20 familiar objects were shown for 30 seconds. After this time they disappear and we have to write down the ones we remember. I got 9/20 which is not very good, but it is not terrible. I think I need more time to understand/memorize things. Results could vary depending on what type of learner you are. I think visual learners could do very well on this test. Also, one test couldn't measure our mental capabilities.

II. Number Memory Test
This test showed numbers starting from 3 digits and every time increasing one digit. We have 10 seconds to memorize the number. If we get it right, the next number has one more digit. If we lose, the difficulty decreases by lowering a digit. I was able to memorize numbers up to seven digits. I could have improved if I tried more times. Pretty interesting!

III. Words Short Term Memory Test
This test showed 12 words on the screen. We have to memorize them within a few minutes. Later we have to recall all the words. I was able to remember 8/12 words. And the result said my short term memory is working on an average capacity. This test was somewhat accurate. Using some strategies could have helped in memorizing things quickly.

Anyways it was fun taking these tests!!
